QANTASLINK / AIRBUS – FUSELAGE DESIGN & COLLATERAL DESIGN
//Concept Design of Fuselage Design + Rollout of Fuselage Design + Airbus (Canada) Paintshop Liaison for Colour Selection – Finished Art Supply to Airbus Team + Other Design Collateral (Print & Digital) + Styleguide Design & Logo Suite Creation for Supply to Qantas Internal Team + Indigenous Artist Photoshoot & Retouching.

As sole Designer for the Qantas A220 Indigenous livery design ‘Minyma Kutjara Tjukurpa’ for design agency Balarinji – I'm super proud to have worked on this project.

The process spanned 2022/2023 from initial concepts to launch. Over that time, working with Qantas and Airbus (Canada) to take a 2D vision into 3D renders and eventually onto the fuselage in the Airbus airport paint facility in Mirabel, Canada. The design process entailed meeting in Central Australia with the renowned Pitjantjatjara artist, Maringka Baker, the Tjungu Palya Arts Centre and Copyright Agency. My responsibilities also covered collateral and merchandise designs and creation of an overarching Design Style Guide to guide the roll-out of collateral design by Qantas.
